About Us

The Prostate Clinic (part of Cape Town Medic-Clinic) is actively involved in the treatment of prostate related deceases.

Prostate cancer is a major cause of death in men, but the enlargement of the prostate is a common occurrence linked to age.

Treatment of an enlarged prostate is done with laser therapy where excess prostate tissue is removed in a simple procedure with either a local or full anaesthetic with a maximum of overnight stay in the hospital.

Always ensure your urologist is familiar with laser therapy and that it is part of his/her normal treatment routine.

For additional information on laser therapy, refer to the questions section of this site or use the direct contact facility.
